The first sector is done!!!
With the end of March, 13 weeks of the year had gone by and the first sector of my Galaxy 24 run is finished.
I indeed managed to work on the thing nearly every day and only had a few instances where I had to postpone it until the next day.
It was and still is a lot of fun. Though I have to say that the publication part is a bit stressfull at times. Since I don't have any social media stuff, posting the systems in that shitty canva lay out here is the only way to share it. But I think I will just release new stuff here once a full sector is done, so that I have a bit more time and just have to sit down for one weekend in order to digitalize the whole thing.
The drawings are a lot of fun actually. I didn't expect to be so delighted by drawing with colored pencils again.
I also seem to have a penchant for creating inhabitable planets. Dunno why. Maybe that comes with being a Biologist.
Gaming wise I managed to have some seperate one-shot sessions on some of the planets using Jason Tocci's 2400. But now, with the first sector finished I'm thinking about trying some system-spanning campaign play. Maybe I will use that as an opportunity to try out a campaign frame I was tinkering with and connect different 24XX modules through it.
We'll see.
For now, I'm just happy about that swarm of strange little worlds and excited to see what else I'll encounter on my jorney through the stars.
See ya, space-crickets!
